A Film by Quentin Tarantino : a vingança histórica em Bastardos Inglórios (2009)

Abstract

Resumo : Bastardos Inglórios é um longa-metragem norte-americano de Quentin Tarantino, lançado em 2009. Basicamente, a história se passa no decorrer da Segunda Guerra Mundial com ênfase em dois núcleos: Shosanna, judia cujo os pais foram mortos por soldados nazistas; os bastardos, grupo de soldados norte-americanos que desembarcam na Alemanha para destruir nazistas. Apesar de distintos, ambos têm o objetivo de vingarem os atos cometidos contra os judeus pelos nazistas e, para isso, tramam e executam o assassinato de Adolf Hitler e do alto escalão do Terceiro Reich. A pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar como ocorre uma vingança histórica, motivada por ações danosas no passado, abarcando as relações culturais e sociais do século XXI. O conceito de vingança é bastante discutido na atualidade. Os longas-metragens que representam a Segunda Guerra Mundial tendem a trazer esse sentimento em suas obras. As produções hollywoodianas crescem constantemente e tendem a representar os Estados Unidos como vitoriosos nas guerras e conflitos exibidos em larga escala. Compreendendo o cinema como uma construção humana - formado por relações, ideais e objetivos de consumo - pretendemos entender como o filme utiliza de contextos históricos do passado para englobar um conjunto de ideias contemporâneas, presentes na sociedade norte-americana. Abstract: Inglorious Basterds it's an American movie by Quentin Tarantino, released in 2009. Basically, the history happens in Second World War, with emphasis in two cores: Shosanna, the orphaned Jewish by Nazis soldiers, and the basterds, a group of American soldiers that drop in Germany to destroy Nazis. Despite of distinguished, both have the same objective of revenging the things committed against the Jews and, for this, they plan and execute the murderer of Adolf Hitler and the high echelon of the Third Reich. Therefore, the research aims analyzing how happen a historical revenge for upward pass, embracing the cultural and social relationships of the XXI century. The idea of revenge it comes really present in the current days and movies that represent the Second World War lean to bring this felling in his works. Hollywood grows each year and, due to its popularity, the numbers of spectators grows, while the cinematography industry lean to represent the United States as the victorious of the conflict. Comprehend the cinema like a human construction (shaped by relations, ideals and consumption objective), we pretend to understand how the movie uses historical contexts from the pass to enclose an entirety of contemporary ideas, present in the American society.
