A história da cidade, consciência histórica e identidades de jovens escolarizados

Abstract

Resumo: A investigação tem como tema a relação entre a história da cidade, a consciência histórica de jovens escolarizados e a formação de identidades acerca da cidade de Curitiba-Pr. O objetivo da investigação foi analisar de que forma a consciência histórica de jovens escolarizados que vivem em Curitiba expressa suas identidades em relação à cidade de Curitiba. O estudo enquadra-se no domínio cientifico da Educação Histórica, cuja atenção volta-se ao conhecimento sistemático das ideias históricas de alunos e professores, tomou como referência principal à teoria da história de Jörn Rüsen, particularmente, a ideia de consciência histórica, que, segundo este autor, articula o passado como experiência e o presente e o futuro como campos de ação orientados pelo passado, e tem como funções ssenciais a orientação temporal e a criação de identidades individuais e coletivas. Este trabalho indica que há contradições entre a história vivida pelos jovens da pesquisa e a articulação entre a sua consciência do passado da cidade, fortemente matizada pelo processo de escolarização e pelo discurso oficial sobre a cidade, e a formação das suas identidades de pertencimento à cidade Curitiba. Esta tese de doutorado foi desenvolvida na linha de Pesquisa Cultura Escola e Ensino, do programa de Pós- Graduação em Educação, Universidade Federal do Paraná.

Abstract: The research theme is the relationship between the city's history, taking as its object of study the historical consciousness of young people in education and training of their identities on the city of Curitiba-Pr. The goal is to analyze the identity of High School Students who live in Curitiba expresses the historical consciousness of the city of Curitiba. The study is part of the scientific field of Historical Education, whose attention has turned to the systematic knowledge of the historical ideas of students and teachers took as the main theory of history Jörn Rüsen particularly the idea of historical consciousness, which ccording to this author articulates how the past experience and present and future fields of action as directed by the past, and its essential functions temporal orientation and the creation of individual and collective identities. This work indicates that there are inconsistencies between the story as experienced by young people in research and the links between their awareness of the city's past, strongly tinged with the chooling process and the official discourse about the city, and the formation of their identities belonging to Curitiba.
