Educação física escolar e a educação das relações étnico-raciais : propostas a partir da cultura corporal do movimento

Abstract

Resumo : A Educação Física escolar, ao admitir como seu objeto de ensino/estudo a Cultura Corporal do Movimento, propõe-se a relacionar conteúdos como jogos, brincadeiras, esportes, danças, lutas e ginástica com os problemas sociopolíticos contemporâneos, tendo como ponto de partida a própria realidade dos alunos. Entretanto, mesmo diante de uma perspectiva tão promissora e do atual momento histórico em que vivemos, com a promulgação da Lei 10.639/03 que torna obrigatório o ensino da História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira e Africana ter acontecido há mais de uma década, percebemos a grande dificuldade que muitos professores de Educação Física ainda têm para inserir esses temas em suas aulas. Nosso objetivo nessa pesquisa é, então, discutir, como o professor de Educação Física pode inserir discussões étnico-raciais no cotidiano das suas aulas. Isso se dá através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica na qual em primeiro lugar retomamos historicamente as diversas abordagens de ensino da Educação Física, para posteriormente reafirmar a Cultura Corporal do Movimento como atual objeto de ensino/estudo da área na escola, discutir a Lei 10.639/03 e suas relações com a disciplina em questão. Visamos com esse trabalho, proporcionar subsídios teórico-práticos aos professores, no que tange à educação das relações étnico raciais na disciplina de Educação Física, contribuindo assim para a aplicação da Lei 10.639/03 nas aulas.

Abstract : Physical Education, aims to focus on the teaching and study of Kinesthetic Learning and proposes to link its subject matter such as games activities, dances, wrestling, gymnastics and other sports with contemporary socio-political issues, which takes as its starting point the students reality of life. However, even with a promising perspective and the current historical moment in which we live, with the enactment of the Law 10.639/03, which althought has mandated the teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History for a decade, we still see the great difficulty that many PE teachers have when entering these themes in their classes. Our goal in this research is to discuss how Physical Education teachers can insert ethnic-racial discussions in the daily classes. This is achieved through a literature search in which we first historically resumed the various approaches to teaching Physical Education, to further reaffirm Kinesthetic Learning as the current object of teaching study from the area at school and discuss the Law 10.639/03 and its relationship with the discipline in question. We aim with this work, to provide theoretical and practical information to teachers regarding the education of ethnic-racial relations in the discipline of physical education, thus contributing to the implementation of Law 10.639/03 in classes. In conclusion, we realize that after the approval of the Law 10.639 / 03 (BRAZIL, 2003), mandating the teaching of african-Brazilian history and and African culture, began to be produced more academic papers dealing with this subject in Physical Education . Researchs cover, in isolation or in general, each of the five structuring content (games activities, dances, wrestling, gymnastics and other sports), in order to provide both theoretical and practical information for professionals in the area insert the ethnic-racial discussions in their everyday classes.
