A educação ambiental no primeiro Centro de Educação Integral de Curitiba : as vozes que ecoam do passado para o presente

Abstract

Resumo: A presente pesquisa partiu da motivação e interesse de investigar as atividades e práticas de educação ambiental realizadas na década de 1990 e atualmente no primeiro Centro de Educação Integral de Curitiba/PR. Além dos teóricos, Carvalho (2012), Coelho; Cavalieri (2002), Freire (2001, 2011), Gadotti (2009), Reigotta (2009), Sato; Carvalho (2005), e Teixeira (1967, 1977), que contribuíram para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho, foram utilizados também, um rol de pesquisas empíricas realizadas por outros sete autores que investigaram as práticas de educação ambiental e educação de tempo integral no município de Curitiba no período de 2003 a 2011. No corpo do trabalho consta também, um breve histórico sobre educação de tempo integral em Curitiba e os primeiros passos da educação ambiental no mundo, no Brasil e no município. E, para elucidar a diversidade de concepções sobre educação ambiental, tomou-se como referência e apropriação os diferentes conceitos apresentados por Lucie Sauvé (2005) sobre essa temática. Amparada por esses princípios, a pesquisadora que é membro integrante e atuante na Rede Municipal de Ensino, vem a calhar com este estudo não somente o interesse pessoal e profissional, mas, também atender a necessidade da Coordenadoria de Educação Integral da Secretaria Municipal da Educação de Curitiba pelo aprofundamento do assunto e enriquecer o Projeto Memória da Rede Municipal de Ensino. Com o espírito investigativo, busca-se resgatar a memória histórica das práticas de educação ambiental na década de 1990 e na atualidade realizadas no Centro pesquisado, a partir dos depoimentos dos seus fundadores. Procura-se, portanto, resgatar essa história por meio das memórias vividas e sentidas pelos atores protagonistas. Para o alcance dos objetivos, será utilizada a metodologia do estudo de caso, a entrevista aberta com foco etnográfico. Os objetivos compreendem resgatar a história do primeiro Centro, investigar quando, como, e de que forma a prática ambiental foi e vem sendo realizada atualmente na escola. Visa, sobretudo, apreender se houveram mudanças de comportamento social da comunidade escolar frente às questões ambientais. Outro objetivo é investigar as percepções, avaliações e contribuições práticas que os fundadores tiveram durante e após a introdução, implantação e desenvolvimento das atividades de educação ambiental. Abstract: This research was based on the motivation and interest to investigate the activities and environmental education practices conducted in the 1990s and currently the first Center for Integral Education Curitiba / PR. Besides the theoretical, Carvalho (2012), Coelho; Cavalieri (2002), Freire (2001, 2011), Gadotti (2009), Reigotta (2009), Sato; Carvalho (2005) and Teixeira (1967,1977), which contributed to the development of this work, was also used, a list of empirical research conducted by seven other authors who investigated the practices of environmental education and education full time in Curitiba in the period 2003-2011. Also in the body of work contained a brief history of education full time in Curitiba and the first steps in the world of environmental education in Brazil and in the city. And, to elucidate the diversity of conceptions of environmental education, was taken as reference and ownership of the various concepts presented by Lucie Sauvé (2005) on this topic. Supported by these principles, the researcher is an integral and active in the Municipal School member, comes in handy with this study not only the personal and professional interests, but also meet the need of the Coordination of Integral Education Department of Municipal Education Curitiba deepening of the subject and enrich the Memory Project of municipal schools. With the investigative spirit, we seek to recover the historical memory of the practices of environmental education in the 1990s and at present performed by the Center researched, from the testimony of its founders. An attempt is thus rescuing this story through the felt and lived by the protagonists actors memories. To achieve the objectives, the methodology of the case study will be used to open interviews with ethnographic focus. The objectives include rescuing the history of the first center, investigate when, how, and how environmental practice was and is currently being held at the school. Aims mainly to apprehend if there were changes in social behavior in the school community in relation to environmental issues. Another objective is to investigate the perceptions, evaluations and practical contributions that the founders had during and after the introduction, implementation and development of environmental education activities.
