Abstract : This study discusses "knowledge" based on the so called HemeneuticalPhenomenology approach, focusing some perspectives of the mathematics teaching, intending to drawn connections among Husserl, Merleau-Ponty (and their knowledge conceptions) and possible consequences on Mathematics Education. Founded on researches that consider the contribution of the Phenomenology at Education and considering the relationship between Phenomenology and Analytical Psychology, "knowledge" is defined as the human psychic experience. First of all, a bibliography revision is made in order to sketch some phenomenological categories with which some comprehensions are built. "How teacher deals with systemized knowledge and which relations he/she can establish between such knowledge and his/her world (the husserlian lebenswelt)" can be taken as the guide-question to this research. Understanding this phenomenon we were able to set up some links between Mathematics Education and teachers' practice and experiences. In other words, our work establishes that teachers must take seriously their pedagogical intentions looking for building a close relation (the so-called "encounter") with their students.
